Actor and model Rohullah Mehdi, who plays Dev in the 2025 Hindi movie, has reportedly been caught up in an alleged narcotics scam in the Mumbai metropolitan region. The Kashimira Police Crime Branch had arrested Mehdi and another man after investigating the possible existence of a drug syndicate based on social media, reports said Aug. 24, 2026.
In the operation, the police reportedly confiscated approximately 28 grams of the banned narcotic substance but the nature of the narcotic has been ambiguous in the initial media reports.
