Luv Ranjan is the director of the upcoming Hindi film Ranger whose director is Jagan Shakti. It is an action genre film and features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and the likes of Tamannaah Bhatia. The movie has been gaining popularity due to its setting in the jungle and its storyline featuring wildlife. As for the Ranger release date delayed news, the movie was originally slated to be released in theaters on December 4, 2026. But, Bollywood Hungama had reported that the film would now come in 2027 after Eid in March. It suggests that the production team will be putting it out in the year, not December as they have first indicated. But March 2027 is not a definite date, it’s an expectation of release time. The exact day of release is not yet confirmed, until the film makers make an official announcement. It’s crucial for fans to believe official reports and announcements, as well as those of well-known entertainment journalists, instead of relying on unverifiable dates that are spreading around the internet.
The cause of the delay has not been officially revealed yet, with the caveat that this may only be until the filmmakers make a definitive statement. Bollywood Hungama reports that the re-sliced runtime of the film might make it a summer film, the ideal time for a jungle adventure that may appeal to viewers during the school and college holidays. As a result of the change, Ranger will be missing the 4 December 2026 release date that will be filled with other Bollywood films. However, to say, without substantiating evidence, that a production issue, a budget issue or that another movie was a box-office danger for Universal that’s the reason for the delay is wrong. Further details of the new schedule will be released at the next one.
The project has been postponed but the cast, the direction and the adventure aspect of the show are still intriguing. The other highlight of the film is the Ajay Devgn-Sanjay Dutt combination and Tamannaah Bhatia has joined the cast with her familiar face. It may also differ from a typical urban action drama due to it being about the conservation of forests and poaching of animals. The project is being directed by Jagan Shakti and is being produced by Luv Ranjan and there is a possibility that it will be a combined action-jungle adventure. However, details surrounding the updated theatrical window, such as theatrical release date, advance booking plan and promotion have yet to be finalized.
In conclusion, the delay in the release of the film “Ranger” has put an end to the speculation of its date of release on 4 December 2026. The entertainment industry has reported the film being rescheduled for 2027 and its release following the Eid festival, which is expected to start o=in March. However, the makers haven’t given an official new date, and until that’s announced, it’s too early for viewers to mark it as a certain date. More confirmed details of the cast, trailer, story and theatrical release will be available for fans.
