Dhamaal 4 is the fourth instalment of the comedy super franchise after Dhamaal (2007), Double Dhamaal (2011) and Total Dhamaal (2019). It is made by T-Series Films, Panorama Studios, Devgn Films, Maruti International and Anand Pandit Motion Pictures.

Director Indra Kumar, who has helmed all the Dhamaal movies, will be making all the movies in the series. The script is by Paritosh Painter, Balvinder Singh Suri, Vedd Prakash and Bunty Rathore. Musically, the film saw the participation of several names including Tanishk Bagchi, Aditya Dev, and Guru Randhawa, with several songs being released online to create buzz for the film, including Chatni, Qeher and Saree. The background score was written by Amar Mohile. This was obviously one of the larger comedy wagers in the Bollywood genre this year with the size of the ensemble and production.

Dhamaal 4 Storyline & Plot
The story follows the tried and tested scheme of the franchise, the treasure hunt. Guddu finds out that Prithvi knows where the pirate, Shaitan Singh, buried his treasure but, before he can tell Prithvi, he is captured by Adhoora. The twist is that Adhoora accidentally burns the treasure map which leaves the person with the knowledge of the treasure map, Prithvi, alive, but on the run. He runs to a place called Chamboli and Guddu, with Johnny, goes to search for him taking Aaliya’s kids with him.
Then it’s nothing new: mistaken identity, misfits who are always after money, another crew of pirates, and one silly thing after another. The movie follows the same formula as the first and third in the series and is very nostalgic and family friendly.
Dhamaal 4 Movie Budget
There’s been no official word on its final budget, but all indications suggest that Dhamaal 4 is going to be a pricier Bollywood-comedy. The scale of the cast, locations and set pieces of the film are enormous, and the themes revolve around a treasure hunt.
The songs like “Chatni,” “Qeher” and “Saree” were released well before the film reached theaters to create a buzz and it was definitely a big wager on the fan-following of the franchise to recoup at the box office.
