In this film, Nani plays the role of Jadal and the action of the film is set against a realistic background that includes power, resistance and social conflict. The makers intended to make Paradise available in several languages, making it a multilingual release. It has also been talked about because of Nani’s portrayal in this role as opposed to his earlier works, which are more subdued and understated.
